No Charge Adoption and Surrogacy Seminars in November 2010
Mary Catherine Barrett Co. L.P.A., in honor of Adoption Awareness Month, will be hosting two informational seminars in early November. These seminars are intended for all people interested in adoptions or surrogacy, and specifics on:
- Adding to your family through domestic or international adoption.
- Are you pregnant and considering adoption for your child?
- Are you interested in becoming a parent through surrogacy?
- Considering becoming a gestational surrogate or egg donor?
The November 9 seminar will be held at the law office of Mary Catherine Barrett Co. L.P.A., located at 19111 Detroit Road, Rocky River, OH 44116. The November 11 seminar will be held at Moot Court House, Case Western Reserve University.
According to Ms. Barrett, “There are many things prospective adoptive parents should know, including the large tax credit toward the cost of adoption.”
Joining Ms. Barrett at the November 11 seminar at Case Western Reserve University Law School will be the acclaimed founder and director of the Attachment and Bonding Center of Ohio, Dr. Gregory Keck. Together, Barrett and Keck plan to spread awareness of adoption and surrogacy fundamentals and answer all the attendees' questions. Both seminars will further explain:
- Important changes to adoption and surrogacy laws in the last year
- Why Ohio is the best state in the nation for surrogacy.
- How to qualify for the significant tax credit toward the cost of adoption.
